At Argus, we have always sought to ensure that our internal controls, processes and transparency are managed at the highest levels within the industry.

We are certified as a bona fide Minority Business Enterprise as defined by National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc (NMSDC) and as adopted by the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council. We are also certified Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE 16) since it replaced the Statements for Auditing Standards (SAS) 70 certification in June 2011. SSAE 16 contains the accounting rules that auditors must use when examining a service organization’s internal controls and security practices. SAS 70 was in place since 1992.

Organizations that are certified SSAE 16 offer a level of trust and confidence for clients and third-party relationships that is extremely valuable, giving such parties a measure of reassurance and understanding that privacy, legal and security issues will be addressed directly.

SSAE 16 has also extended the reach of the SAS 70 beyond finance, reporting on other types of controls, such as those related to compliance and operations. The SSAE 16 reports are also more robust, requiring more planning and preparation by both service organizations and auditors.

All systems and processes by Argus are clearly documented in compliance with SSAE 16. As standards evolve, Argus Solutions will continue to be an industry leader.
